Quentin Tarantino Offers Strong Thoughts on ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’

Zack Snyder’s Justice League has come and gone but it still remains a major talking point in Hollywood. There’s never been an instance where fans were able to bully a studio into giving a filmmaker more money to finish his vision for a movie that already came out. It was a huge win for directors everywhere but time will tell if it leads to any industry-level changes.

One big name who took note of the Snyder Cut was Academy Award winner Quentin Tarantino. He was a big fan of how the whole thing went down.

“Well, I haven’t seen it because I don’t have HBO Max, but that’s something I would like to see,” Tarantino said on the ReelBend podcast. “I never saw it when it was at the theaters, but I’d be kind of curious to see this four-hour, you know, his original version on that. No, I actually thought that was really groovy. And I actually thought the fans were really groovy, the fact they kept persisting on it, and everything.”

Critics mostly enjoyed the Snyder Cut as it sits at 71% on Rotten Tomatoes. The four-hour epic was a vast improvement over the original cut that was finished by Joss Whedon.

It’s kind of hilarious that Tarantino doesn’t have HBO Max considering a number of his films are on the streaming service, including both Kill Bill movies. Regardless, he should figure out a way to seek out the Snyder Cut as it is a solid vision of what the Justice League should look like in a live-action film.
