Season 2 of ‘The Witcher’ Has Wrapped up Filming

Video game adaptations have been a hellscape over the last few decades. Hollywood has not been able to crack the code on how to adapt these stories. Luckily, there have been some promising signs that they’re figuring things out. Though “The Witcher” is based on a book, it’s mainly popular around the world due to the phenomenal game series.

When Netflix revealed it was making an adaptation, there was some cautious optimism. While the first season of “The Witcher” was far from perfect, there were a lot of reasons to be excited about the potential of the series. Hopefully, we’re close to finding out if the show has improved as it was announced on Friday that filming of the second season has wrapped.

Some of the worst parts of season one involved the Nilfgaardian armor, which looked like a shriveled ballsack. Fortunately, they’ve completely changed the design of the armor for season two.

Another big issue was the non-linear storytelling which was confusing and unclear. That also won’t be present in season two.  All signs point to “The Witcher” season two being an improvement over the promising first season.
