‘The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It’ Reveals Terrifying Trailer

Say what you want about James Wan but the man knows how to create a horror movie franchise. While Saw and Insidious are really good movies, The Conjuring might just be Wan’s best work to date. The Conjuring 2 is also one of the better blockbuster horror movies to come out in recent years.

The Conjuring franchise has become one of the biggest in all of film, including several spin-off movies. The next movie in the franchise will be The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The film will be based on the Trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson, which was the first time a legal defense was mounted to prove a man’s innocence due to demonic possession. While that sounds more like a straightforward courtroom drama, the film will be much more. Warner Bros. dropped the official trailer for the film and it certainly promises all the scares that we’ve come to expect from these movies.

Unfortunately, Wan isn’t the director of the film but it certainly heavily influenced by him. The Curse of la Llorona director Michael Chaves is taking over the franchise. While I personally wasn’t a huge fan of that film, it certainly wasn’t the worst movie in The Conjuring universe.
