Sony Announces Next PS5 State Of Play Showcase
PlayStation fans will be happy to hear that Sony’s next State of Play livestream will be on Thursday, February 25th. The broadcast starts at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET on both YouTube and Twitch, and will showcase a “deep dive for 10 games coming to PS4 and PS5.” In an update posted to the PlayStation blog, Senior Director Sid Shuman revealed that the livestream will run for roughly 30 minutes. Although the games that will be highlighted have yet to be announced, Shuman also said that there will be announcements for new games to come as well as third-party titles and indie titles shown in last June’s PS5 showcase.
It is also important to note that Shuman mentioned that there “won’t be PlayStation hardware or business-focused updates in this show.” The broadcast will be entirely focused on titles coming to the console in the coming months.
