Star Wars: New Name for Boba Fett’s Ship Revealed

Many may not have noticed but Disney quietly decided to change the name of Boba Fett’s ship. The iconic “Slave-1” has been deemed an offensive name so the studio that it best to switch it up. However, there’s been little news as to what it will be called until now.

GamingBible is reporting that the ship finally has landed on a new name. A press release for Paolo Villanelli’s Bounty Hunter Ship Blueprint Variant Covers for the ongoing War of the Bounty Hunters comic event has appeared to reveal that the ship will be called Firespray. The name may not exactly roll off the tongue but it’s a logical name for the ship. The model classification name for Slave I is Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft. At the end of the day, the actual name of the ship has very little bearing on the plot of the upcoming Book of Boba Fett show.
