Fans Go Wild Over Trailer for New Nicolas Cage Movie ‘PIG’
PIG is about a man who lives in the forest with his truffle-hunting pig. Here’s the synopsis courtesy of IMDb: “A truffle hunter who lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness must return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved foraging pig after she is kidnapped.”
Based on the trailer, it looks like we’re in for another iconic Cage performance. Every once in a while, he’ll get into a slump of bad movies. Willy’s Wonderland and Jiu Jitsu were truly terrible movies and there wasn’t enough fun Cage stuff in them to make them interesting. Though PIG looks much more subdued, fans appear really excited for this film.

I was expecting another crazy, over the top Nicolas Cage movie from NEON's PIG, but what it looks like we're actually getting is a subdued character study about a man whose only friend in the world is the pet pig who's been stolen from him. Softer side of Cage. Love to see it. pic.twitter.com/67E6cr6hKo
