First ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Is a Wild Ride [WATCH]

What the hell did I just watch? Alright, so I know the first Venom movie was a big box office hit but it’s one of the dumbest movies I’ve ever seen. It’s a big CGI diarrhea fest and Tom Hardy’s performance is very strange. Honestly, it took me like two years to even watch the movie.

With that said, I’m totally on board with Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Before I breakdown why this trailer is insane, give it a watch:

First of all, this movie was directed by Andy Serkis, who is obviously most famous for playing Smeagol/Gollum in The Lord of the Rings. I don’t know if he’s a competent director because I haven’t seen any of his movies but if he knows anything, it’s CGI. The Venom sequel will clearly feature a lot of CGI so it’s good to have somebody like Serkis at the helm.

The movie looks like a huge mess but also a ton of fun. Woody Harelson as Carnage is an inspired choice and it looks like he’s embracing the weird role. Also, all the Venom stuff with Hardy looks so dumb but in an entertaining way. Will this movie be good? I highly doubt it, but I’m always game for some schlock.
