‘The Flash’ Director Drops First Look of Supergirl’s DCEU Costume
The future of the DCEU is unclear right now. While we might no longer be getting a cinematic universe similar to that of Marvel, Warner Bros. is still committed to making DC movies. One of the most exciting projects on the docket is The Flash, which promises to be a star-studded affair.
Among the characters who will be making their DCEU debut is Supergirl played by Sasha Calle. Director Andy Muschietti decided to offer up the first look at the costume she’ll be wearing.
It’s not the best look ever but it certainly looks in line with the Superman costume we saw in Zack Snyder’s movies. Though DC is trying to move on from his influence, it’s clear that some of his touches will be around for a while. The Supergirl TV show on the CW has been a success but DC has decided to move forward with a movie version. Little is known about Calle as she is largely unknown. How she does in The Flash could dictate whether or not she gets her own movie in the future.
