Rejoice Kingdom Hearts fan! After nearly 19 years of being console exclusive, Square Enix’s critically-acclaimed series is finally making its grand debut on PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive on March 30, 2021. The surprise announcement was made during the Epic Games Store’s Spring Showcase as a short trailer revealed the games that would be coming to the platform.

On March 30, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix,” “Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue,” “Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind DLC,” and “Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory” will be available on the Epic Games Store. With these four titles, the entirety of “the Dark Seeker Saga” will finally be playable on PC.

“Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix” will be priced at $50 USD, while the other titles will be priced at $60 USD.  According to a tweet by Square Enix, owners of “Kingdom Hearts 3” will also receive an exclusive in-game Keyblade.

Long-time fans of the games have been asking for a PC port for years now. While becoming an Epic Games Store exclusive might not be received well by some, it’s a promising step in the right direction for the future of the series.
