Drastic New Jared Leto Joker Look Revealed for ‘Justice League’
“Zack Snyder’s Justice League” is promising a lot of big changes but the biggest one yet may have just been revealed. In a piece at Vanity Fair, the first look of Jared Leto’s Joker in the film has been revealed. Safe to say that Snyder decided to go in a completely different direction than David Ayer did in “Suicide Squad.”

This is obviously a much different look for the character. Gone are the face tattoos and hopefully the grill is also gone. While Leto’s performance as the Joker is much maligned, Ayer didn’t do him any favors. The character probably isn’t going to have a large role in the Justice League movie, but his performance could do a lot to salvage his image as the Joker. Interestingly enough, the Joker wasn’t involved in the original plans for the film but Snyder decided to add him when he got the green light to make a new cut.
“The Joker is really the only thing that I thought of in retrospect,” Snyder told Vanity Fair. “But I will say that it was always my intention to bring Joker into that world.”
It remains to be seen if Leto can improve on his previous Joker performance but his addition will certainly be one of the more interesting aspects of the new cut.
