‘Crysis Remastered Trilogy’ Coming to PC and Console This Fall
Game developer Crytek has revealed that a remastered collection of the Crysis trilogy will be releasing later this year for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. The collection will include the single-player of Crysis, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3.
In the announcement post, Crytek writes that they’ve partnered up with developer Saber Interactive to optimize the games for “today’s consoles and PC hardware” and that the games will play “even smoother on next gen PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.” The Crysis games were notorious for how graphically demanding they were, so it’ll be interesting to see how well it will perform for today’s standards.
The remastered version of the original Crysis, released back in September 2020, will continue to remain available alongside with standalone versions of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3.
