Iconic Assassin’s Creed Character Returning for Valhalla Expansion: Rumor
This story may contain spoilers for Assassin’s Creed Vahalla fans so read at your own risk.
After growing stale, the Assassin’s Creed franchise completely revamped its formula with Assassin’s Creed Origins. The game was a huge success but did have issues. Ubisoft followed up that game with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which may just be the best game in the entire franchise. Vahalla was very good but it didn’t appear to reach the heights that Odyssey did.
At the beginning of the game, you’re given a pivotal choice and that’s whether you would like to play as the male Alexios or the female Cassandra. Not only does that choice decide who the hero of the story is, but it also dictates who the villain of the story will be. While Alexios has his fans (me), most prefer Cassandra as the hero of the story.
Well, Cassandra fans, it could be time to get excited. According to reliable Assassin’s Creed leaker J0nathan, the character is expected to make her return in a piece of Vahalla DLC. Apparently, Cassandra will meet Eivor on the Scottish island of Skye. J0nathan has many spoilers regarding the story and I won’t spoil them here. We’ll link the video at the end of the article.
Obviously, take these rumors with a grain of salt but they make sense. You find out in Odyseey that Cassandra is given eternal life by the Staff of Hermes. It’s feasible that she could make her way to Scotland throughout her long life. This is exciting news and I’ll more than likely be popping Vahalla back into my PS5 when this piece of DLC is released to the masses.
